He brought people together through generosity, connection, and community.
This outing honors the spirit he shared with so many throughout his life.
An Important Update
After much thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 2026 Freddy Cohen Memorial Golf Outing.
We will be reaching out personally to all registered golfers and sponsors regarding refunds and next steps.

Supporting Meaningful Causes
Through this event, we proudly support families impacted by Apraxia of Speech through the mission of Apraxia Voice – causes that reflect Freddy’s love for sports and his grandson Dean, who has Apraxia. As well as honoring Freddy with a Gift to Maccabi USA
Why Apraxia Voice?
A few people have asked about our family’s connection to Apraxia of Speech and how proceeds from the outing will make a difference.
Freddy’s youngest grandson, Dean, was diagnosed with Childhood Apraxia of Speech, a neurological speech disorder that makes it difficult for children to coordinate the movements needed to speak. Watching Dean’s journey opened our family’s eyes to the challenges these children and their families face every day.
Today, through Apraxia Voice, we are helping families access education, resources, and support while advancing a more holistic approach to communication and wellness.

The Event
Set at Ivanhoe Country Club, this 27-hole country club brings together golfers, guests, business leaders, family, and friends for a memorable premium experience.
The day will include golf, on-course experiences, lunch, cocktails, dinner, awards, and time together to celebrate Freddy’s legacy.
